Charlotte County lobbies state government officials on issues vital to county businesses, residents and government through policymaker and lobbyist visits. County representatives meet with these government leaders to help bring state dollars back to the county for priority projects and to share how state decisions may affect Charlotte County and our residents. The County focuses its efforts based upon priorities set forth by the Board of County Commissioners in an annual legislative agenda.
